A daily number puzzle. Combine four digits to make exactly 10.
Every day you get four digits. Use + − × ÷ and parentheses to make exactly 10, using each digit exactly once. Digits can't be joined, so 1 and 2 can't become 12. Find as many different answers as you can. You can also read the rules any time with the question mark button in the app.
Answers that are the same idea written another way don't count twice. Swapping the order, like 1 + 9 and 9 + 1, is the same answer, and so is moving a × 1 or ÷ 1 around.
At midnight in your own time zone. Everyone gets the same digits on the same date.
Today's puzzle is always free. The Puzzle Archive is a one-time purchase that lets you play every past puzzle back to January 1, 2026. There is no subscription, and old puzzles never change your daily streak.
Open Make Ten, tap the gear icon for Settings, and tap Restore Purchase. You can also tap the calendar icon and tap Restore Purchase there. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple Account you used to buy it.
First try Restore Purchase. If that doesn't work, close and reopen the app. If it's still locked, email me with the date of your purchase.
No. Make Ten works in airplane mode. The only time it connects to anything is when you buy or restore the Puzzle Archive through the App Store.
Only on your phone. If you delete the app, your streak and saved answers are deleted too. You can also clear them with Reset all progress in Settings. Your purchase is not affected, and you can always restore it.
Press and hold the Home Screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget, and search for Make Ten. There is also a Lock Screen version.
